Glocal Prayer Network APP Manual
- Users need to download the app from Google play store if it is android phone or can download from the Appstore if it is apple phone or mac.
- To access the app, users need to register and await approval from the admin.
- Users can also register for the app through the web link, which respective admin will share to the user
- After successfully registering, users can log in to the app using their credentials.
- In case a user forgets their password, they can utilize the “Forgot Password” feature to reset it securely.
- After verifying the OTP which the user receives through mail,then gets a screen that Resets the user password.
Bottom Navigation Bar:
The bottom navigation bar provides quick access to key sections of the app:
- Home: Returns you to this main dashboard.
- Prayer: View and submit prayer requests.
- Message: Access spiritual messages and updates.
- Songs: Browse and play songs in multiple languages.
- Profile: Manage your account details and settings.
Home Screen Features
The home screen showcases some features of the app, accessible via visually appealing cards:
- Daily Devotion: Tap to read daily devotional content prepared by the organization.
- Church History: Explore the history and legacy of your church through text, images, or videos.
- Latest Events: Stay updated on upcoming and recent events organized by your church or group.
- Testimonies: Share and read inspiring testimonies from members of your community to strengthen your faith and encourage others.
- This page allows users to browse, search, and interact with prayer requests. Users can categorize prayers, react to them, leave comments, and submit new requests.
- The prayer feature is a central component of the app, facilitating prayer requests and community support.
Navigating to Prayer Page: Users can click on the “Prayer” feature in the app’s bottom section to access the prayer page.
- Search and Filters
- Type in username to find specific prayer requests of specific user quickly.
- Category Filters
- Tap on any category (e.g., All, Politics, Education, etc.) to filter prayer requests based on the topic.
- Prayer Cards
- Each prayer request is presented as a card. Here’s a detailed breakdown of its components:
- Comments

Comments on Prayer Requests, the section displays the most recent comments on each prayer request (e.g., “Thank you for joining me in this prayer…!”). Users can add comments to their own prayer requests but cannot comment on other users’ posts. However, all users can view the comments on any prayer request.
Admins and super admins have the ability to reply to user comments. The comments icon will display the total number of comments on a prayer request. When clicked, it will reveal the full list of comments along with any replies.
- Prayer Count
- Displays the number of people who are actively praying for the request.
- Reactions

Tap on emoji icons (e.g., ❤️, 🙏) to show your support.
When the reactions count is clicked, it displays a detailed list of reactions, including the total count for each type of reaction and the names of users who have reacted.

Floating Action Button: Tap the + button to create and submit a new prayer request.
Prayer Request
- Submitting Prayer Requests: On the prayer page, users can submit prayer requests by selecting a category and providing a subject and content.
- Public and Private Prayer Requests: Prayer requests can be either public or private. Users can mark a request as private by selecting the “Only for Elders, Confidential” checkbox.
- Admin Approval: Both public and private prayer requests require approval from the admin. Once approved, public requests are visible to all users, while private requests are visible only to the user and designated elders.
- Push Notifications: Users receive push notifications for approved or declined prayer requests. Additionally, users are notified when new public prayers are added for community support.
- My Prayers: In the profile menu, users can access “My Prayers” to view a list of their submitted prayer requests. Each request includes status indicators such as pending, approved, or rejected.
- Manage Prayer Requests: Users can delete their prayer requests or mark them as answered, moving them to the answered prayer list.
Prayer requests marked as answered are removed from the categories list and moved to the answered prayers list.
The testimonies feature allows users to share their experiences and answered prayers with the community.
- Sharing Testimonies: When a user marks a prayer request as answered, they have the option to share it as a testimony. Users provide a title and content for the testimony and submit it for approval.
- Admin Approval: Testimonies require approval from the admin. Upon approval, users receive push notifications, and the testimony is visible to all users in the app.
- My Testimonies: Users can view the status of their submitted testimonies in the “My Testimonies” page accessible from the profile menu. Each testimony is listed with its current status (approved or rejected).
- Admin Dashboard: The admin can manage all testimonies submitted by users through the testimonies module in the admin dashboard. Admins can approve or reject testimonies from this interface.
- The user can view the list of songs which was added by the org admin
- The user can search songs by Search input
- The user can also filter out the songs with songs language by selecting ALL,English,Telugu,Hindi,Songbook.
- Song In detail
- When select on the song then the full lyrics of the song will display.
- The user can change the font as the user needs and font size can also increase and decrese the song lyrics.
- The user can also click to next song by select next icon at the bottom of the screen as shown in above
- In the above image, there is play button icon at the top right side it is Slide show module.
- The slideshow screen is for Landscape view as shown in below:
The user can view the lyrics in horizontal view, so that user can display the songs on the projector, TV.
The profile option is at the bottom bar when user clicks on that option, the profile screen displays.
- In the user Interface, the user info are as display the Email, MobileNumber,Gender,Date of Birth,Organisation,Baptized,Marital Status,Address.
- After selecting the Profile button ,the user can view to edit their information.
- In the Profile option, there is menu icon.
- The menu display as like below and in that there is Feedback option.
- When User click on the Feedback, it navigates to the Feedback which user can give Rating and feedback comment.
- The user starts giving Rating and Feedback comment and clicks on the Send Feedback button then gets a popup modal with “Thank you for your feedback” message.
- The user can also Change their password which is at the menu bar.
- When user clicks on the menu icon which is at top left.
- Then click on the Change Password option in the list of Menu.
- It navigates to the Change Password screen.
- The user needs to enter their Current using Password, Enter New Password in the New Password input
- The user can also check the password what they entered before changing the Password by clicking on the eye icon which is at the right side of the text input.
- Then click on the Change Password button for changing the password.
- The user gets a success modal popup with a message “Password changed successfully”
- The registration link is in list of Menu.
- When user clicks on the Registration link then user can view the link for sharing others or copy and can open that link in browser.
- The unregistered user can register by filling the registration form and then can login to the app with his credentials.
The user can view the Share App in the list of menu.
When user clicks on the share App, the user can view the app link which is easy to share others and can copy, share with any app like WhatsApp, Instagram etc.
1.GET A RIDE
- Give-Get a ride feature is only in mobile app.
- The feature is at the Profile option when user clicks on the menu bar then the user can view the Give-Get a Ride left side top bar.
- The user can view the dashboard of Give-Get a Ride with Search for a Ride, Get a Ride, Give a Ride, My Rides.
- The user can either Request for a ride or Post for a ride i.e. the user can either give a ride or take a ride.
If the user wants to Request for a ride, then click on the Get a Ride and click on the plus icon which is at right bottom side. - The user can view the Request for a ride screen.
- To select the location the user needs to click on the Where To input to select the location
The user needs to allow the location before selecting the location and current location will automatically display in From location. - The user clicks on the Where To input then it gets a popup that the user should allow the location.
- The user should give access the device’ location otherwise the device’s location will be denied.
- The user should click either click on the While using the app or Only this time option.
- After that, the user can select the location by typing and can give the location suggestions.
The user can add to favourites in the location at right side ,there is like icon when user clicks on that icon ,the user can view 3 options
1.Friend
2.Family
3.Church
which is at bottom and then click on the Submit button.
So,Everytime the using select the location then user can view the saved locations
